About us
In autumn 1991, the first building was opened in the Eduard-Bodem-Gasse in the "Technologie- und Wirtschaftspark Innsbruck" (TWI - "Technology and Commercial Park Innsbruck") to the east of Innsbruck and in the immediate vicinity of the motorway. This was not only the beginning of the biggest commercial park in western Austria; it also formed the cornerstone of the Wirtschaftspark Rossau ("Commercial Park Rossau").
Due to the establishment of well-known companies from the technology and service branches, a good mix of companies has emerged in only a few years. This in turn created certain advantageous synergies and contributed to the continued growth of the TWI.
Today, eight buildings (total area about 75,000 m²) house more than 180 small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to various service areas and which use the common infrastructure of the TWI. In addition to 1,500 parking places, a kindergarten, a fitness studio, a post office and several gastronomic outlets serve to complete the complex.
