Business incubator

One of the major goals of the Technologie- und Wirtschaftspark Innsbruck is to promote the founders of businesses and young entrepreneurs. Over the years, special promotional programmes have been developed and implemented in collaboration with the TWI Wirtschaftsservice. Since founders and sole traders frequently need only small offices during their start-up phase and these are only sparsely available in Innsbruck, it decided in early 2008 to meet those requirements.

Since autumn 2008, newly built small and very small offices in the main building (Eduard-Bodem-Gasse 5, well connected to the TWI infrastructure) have been available to 7 business founders. Besides their own office, young entrepreneurs also have access to common areas such as kitchens, conference rooms and toilets. Furthermore, services such as free logo design, free WLAN, reductions on graphic design costs etc are offered by the carrier and the TWI Wirtschaftsservice.

Today, eight buildings (total area about 75,000 m²) house more than 180 small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to various service areas and which use the common infrastructure of the TWI. In addition to 1,500 parking places, a kindergarten, a fitness studio, a post office and several gastronomic outlets serve to complete the complex.
